Well D1 on GoG already happened, and it was an instabuy for me. I own original Hellfire disc, but patch 1.1 does not install on 64x windows. Activision Blizzard owns the now defunct Sierra Entertainment assets, including Hellfire. So making Hellfire come to GoG is possible. keeping fingers crossed it will happen, with v. 1.01 as default. <br /> <br />As for D2 and LoD - that will not happen as long as Activision Blizzard sells it in retail circulation. I Just checked and D2+LoD is still available in stores like Empik. Besides,AB sells it in its online store. So forget it till D2 is taken down from stores.

The only issues i can think of is that Hellfire is basically a different installation of Diablo that only used the Diablo CD. So.. if Blizzard were to allow people to buy Hellfire, people will also own the original Diablo without having to buy it too. I have a feeling they might not want Hellfire because it will canibalize the orignal game (Diablo). <br /> <br />So they might be giving Diablo some time for people to buy before releasing Hellfire, or they might just truly ignore Hellfire completely. The way that Sierra implemented this 'Expansion' was not ideal, since it contains all the original content without actually being part of the original game.

D1 would be sweet to see on GOG. It's difficult to find copies on ebay that aren't costing an arm and a leg. Not to mention Hellfire edition by Sierra. D2 although more available would be a nice pick also. But I doubt it. As for D3.. Hah! Tough chance! Letting PC owners get away with an offline mode?! Don't be ridiculous!

Last i emailed GoG regarding this title, i think it's out of their hands.. it seems GoG WANTS to bring it, but they would not share the details.. maybe Blizzard is being a jerk or there are several licensing issues that stop GoG from bringing it here. Just keep voting.

Fun fact, if you still have your orginal CD keys, you can activate them on your <a href='http://Battle.Net' target='_blank'>Battle.Net</a> account and Blizzard will add those games to your collection! Same goes for old Warcrafts!

If you’re one of those “I’ll wait for the Game of the Year Edition” folks, good news: Diablo 3 [official site] now has one. Blizzard have launched the Diablo 3 Battle Chest, a bundle combining the base game and its expansion, Reaper of Souls, with a small discount. And if you have waited four years for this, nice: after years of patching, Diablo 3 nowadays is good stuff. While I no longer own physical copies of any games, the ‘Battle Chest’ name still warms my heart a little with memories of excitement at buying those big old boxes filled with Blizzardy treats.You can grab the Diablo 3 Battle Chest as a download from Blizzard for £24.99/$29.99, which is £5/$10 cheaper than buying the game and expansion separately.
Blizzard say a physical release will be in shops too, for folks still into boxes (ooh get you, you’re so retro!), though I can’t imagine it’ll contain much more than some soon-to-be-outdated installation discs and a code to bosh into Battle.net. Or whatever Blizzard end up calling Bnet. Blizzard Online Account Game Service Thing, maybe.
This is coming in time for Blizzard to, yup, start releasing more paid add-ons that aren’t included with this edition. Diablo 2’s Necromancer class will arrive in D3 next year, bringing his skeletal hordes with him.
Still, this is a fine jumping-on point. Most of Diablo 3’s wonkiness has been patched up or patched out (see you in hell, Auction House!) over the years, leaving a pretty swish click-click-clicking action-RPG. Sadly, while the console version can be played offline, on PC it still can’t. I only ever played Diablo 2 through the online ladder myself so I suppose I’m used to that, but that’s rightly a sticking point for some would-be players.
